Wings 3d invert mouse4/20/2023 I recall created some windows in the workspace. I open it again the next day to find it crashes when starting. It's awesome.Īfter everything worked fine. I think it would be less confusing if I could set Mouse Buttons to Two and then map option + right click to start the camera, right click to show the menu, and command + right click to show the tweak menu.įirst of all, thank for this compact free program. I think that’s because right click still opens the menu and command + right click opens the tweak menu, but option + right click does not start the camera, instead it opens the menu. My mind thinks it should be option + right click. Now that it's set to One, I still find option + left click a little awkward. It just didn’t seem like the correct setting. Also, if you enable Emulate 3 Button Mouse in the preferences > Input > mouse section, you can use Left click while holding the Alt key and. For a long time I hesitated to try One, because I have a two button mouse for all intents and purposes. The only way I can get “start camera” to work is by setting Mouse Buttons to One. Both are interpreted as a plain right click and open the menu. There’s no distinction between control + left click and control + right click. Lots of new tools: Plane Cut and Slice for cutting objects or face selections Rotate Unconstrained for multi-axis rotations Sculpt Mode lets you push. That’s because control + click is sent as a right click and it opens the menu. To rotate the view, define an initial point of rotation inside the sphere and drag the mouse in the required direction. I can’t start the camera because Wings3D is expecting control + right click. Now I can select, open the menu, and open the tweak menu. The logical next step is to set the Wings3D Mouse Buttons preference to Two. I can’t start the camera, so the default preferences don’t work. The tweak menu works too by holding option + right click. When using Wings3D with the default Mouse Buttons preferences set to Three, I can select and open the menu. Right hand mouse Not-inverted Although the really odd thing is that I used to play heaps of flight/space games and started FPSing with it inverted, stopped playing FPS's for awhile and then when I went back I found I was playing non-inverted. When the secondary click is configured, control + mouse click is still interpreted as right click. So even if I don’t have the secondary click configured I can sill perform a right click. On a Mac a right click is equivalent to control + mouse click. That just means that right click is enabled. In macOS my Magic Mouse is configured to use the secondary click. The axis X,Y, Z are aligned in the same way as in most of the 3D design software. I’m on macOS Catalina 10.15.7, Wings3D v2.2.9, and using an Apple Magic Mouse 2. By opening the program, you land to the workspace of the Wings 3D software. I’m not sure this is technically a bug or just confusing.
